From what I can deduce, I'm guessing a coin about WW1 as seen in the calendar of releases on the Mint's WW1 page.

I'm guessing something about mobilization with a colored design on both sides? A hologram coin?

I agree, Winnie the Pooh coin....i believe a silver coin, with perhaps a gold plated Winnie.

11:35 a.m. Tour of the Winnie the Pooh Gallery at Assiniboine Park's Pavillion Gallery Museum. The Fort Garry Horse will present six Winnie the Bear stuffed animals to Prince Charles for his grandchildren. Dr. Harry Colebourn, a veterinarian who served with the Fort Garry Horse in the First World War, brought the live Winnie the bear to England while he was serving and gave him to the London Zoo. The bear was visited by Christopher Robin Milne and was the original inspiration for A. A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh stories.

12 noon Prince Charles visits the International Polar Bear Conservation Centre and the Journey to Churchill exhibit at the Assiniboine Park Zoo and feeds Hudson the polar bear.

12:15 p.m. Camilla visits the Royal Winnipeg Ballet to celebrate its 75th anniversary and learn about outreach programs for low-income children and adults with limited mobility.

12:55 p.m. Prince Charles officially opens Place Bernadette Poirier, affordable housing for people with mental-health needs and who have been homeless.

1:45 p.m. Prince Charles visits Innovation Alley, a non-profit startup community that provides work space and equipment for young entrepreneurs, inventors and artists in an Exchange District warehouse.

1:45 p.m. Camilla meets with representatives of Assiniboine Credit Union to learn about the business model.

No idea what the coin is going to be. Hopefully something I find ugly so I am not tempted to buy any more coins this month.

I did not receive an email about it (and for what it is worth I apparently do have a rep).

It's silver, it's colorful and it's connected to the Royal Duchess' 12:15pm itinerary stop.

75 anniversary Royal Winnipeg Ballet

Special features:
• A FIRST! The coin comes in its very own music box! The fairytale-like image is protected by a customized case that plays Sleeping Beauty (Valse) melody by Tchaikovsky when opened.
• A FIRST! A Royal Canadian Mint exclusive, this coin features the use of an advanced "Sheer Effect" colourization technique used for the first time! This shimmery colour innovation faithfully recreates the intricate, soft-coloured costumes worn by the Royal Winnipeg Ballet dancers in the lavish production of The Sleeping Beauty.

Mintage: 7,500
Price : $114,95

I pass.......

Ballet coin music box - not on anybody's radar -
Could this be a new "musical box" series?
Perhaps the "winnie bear" is coming as part of the June releases.
