It does look like a die chip and I would not keep it,but that's up to you.

Some people like die chips, others not so much. They're rarely worth a lot, but if you like them I say keep them. Or keep it for now, and if you decide down the road you don't want it you can release it back into the wild or even put it on the 'bay. Personally I keep the pennies with chips, but it's all personal preference.

An error coin must have the wow factor for it to be worth anything, minor chips and clashes are all over ebay with no bids.
