Just want some guidance: If you were to buy 50-100 average IHC with readable dates, average condition, what would you pay?

25 cents each, 50 cents, $1 each?

I have an option for about 100 I will look at tomorrow.

At most I would say $2. I'd start at like 45 bucks for the 100. Then slide up to meet him around 70. At my LCS they sell them at 2 a pop and its pretty low. I know a guy who went to a gold/silver store and paid $150 for 300 IHC of random dates/condition. That's really good. I would love to have this opportunity. I know for a fact that you could sell them for 2+ bucks on ebay. Seems to be 2-4 bucks for the worst quality IHC on ebay. Goodluck. Let me know how it goes.

Depends on the years. If they are mostly post-1889 I'd say you should be able to get them for $0.50 to $0.75 each if you buy them in bulk. I go to a lot of estate auctions and have gotten common date Indian Head cents for less than $0.50 each while at other times people go crazy and pay over a buck each and sometimes two. It depends on your end goal, are you looking to buy them to flip or for your collection? If you are looking to profit on them you need to buy them really, really cheap.

Maybe a coin dealer in your area would sell you some at wholesale prices if they really want to get rid of them and have too many in their inventory.
