The 1972 Type 2 is the rarest coin in the whole series. I'm not surprised by the price, and the dealer is known to me as a good man.

I've dealt with this seller before. All ok on my end. I agree that the price may be a bit on the high end but not unreasonable for a 1972 Ty2. For those gambling between a 63 and 64 this very well may pay off in a PCGS slab.

I was thinking maybe 100.00 to 125.00 but not 195.00.

Well best thing I got out of this post is finding a seller in Vermont! Didn't know this coin sold for so much either.

I think coins has went up in the last 2 yrs slowly getting higher on some.

Duncan, that's Tim Puro, and he has a physical store in Rutland not far from you. Haven't been back in Vermont for a while (I'm from Bennington), but he's on the list for a visit the next time I'm there.
