I noticed in the motto on the obverse, there were strange deformities in some of the letters. They appear in the word god, and in the "rus" of trust. They seem to be large, raised blobs. I dont think it is PMD, as the coin is in great shape, and it doesn't look like metal was moved around. I've never seen blobs like this that were raised, so I'm wondering if it is some type of die break? Hopefully someone has seen this before and can help inform me what it is! I've received excellent help in the past from this site, so hopefully that trend continues! Thanks!

Im not too sure, I've never seen this before. All raised areas are fairly distinct, and seem reminiscent of die breaks that I have seen elsewhere, but it seems odd to me that these blobs all happen in around the same area of whatever letter they are in. I'm open to all ideas!

they are certainly die chips, but probably from a deteriorated die.

Is that something that is fairly common?
