i was just looking at the $20 silver coin the mint is selling.
in my own opinion I dont see these being worth a whole lot more in the future because they seem to be so common and readily available. but what if they were taken out of their holders and allowed to tone naturally? and if left out in the right places you might be able to get some really nice rainbows etc. now its not such a common coin anymore and it may catch more $$$?
if not you still have your $20

I saw another method to sell the 20 for 20 coins...Colonial A. site has extra stock, and so a sale price of 20.50, or 50c profit...Maybe they want customers happy...I bought 2 and now stopped- a toned piece,,!OK..

Once the luster has gone from a series it`s difficult to rekindle any interest or catch more dollars.
Just got my Summertime coin in the mail today, I kinda like it untoned as is, and don`t mind if it`s value never increases above $20.

The 20 for 20s will never be worth more then $20 , the mintage's are far too high for one reason and its 1/4 oz of silver with bullion finish. So unless silver reachs $80 or more per oz then the 20 for 20 will be forever $20 unless someday the banks/mint stop taking them for $20 then they could be worth even less.

The exception would be some of the earlier ones I suppose.

Thats just my take on them , no one really knows for sure what the future has in store.

The maple (the first 20/20 coin) consistently sells for over $35 + shipping. The canoe for high $20s. Some of the other coins are all over the map. The point is some designs to better than others and I think that will dictate the future values.

Yes for sure, the earlier ones are quite nice , but the finish on the last bunch of 20/20 just seems to get poorer and poorer with each release or is it just me?
