A couple of low-grade non-devil's face, why is the signature on one faded like this while the other is not? Did they make the signatures using a different way, because more worm bill with faded colour has a clearer signature?

Does it matter that the Beattie signature isn't in the same spot on the two bills?

Are they both from British American Bank note company? I think they had two printers at that time and different color greens.

They're both from British American Bank Note Company Limited. So they had two printers with different colours?
The one with the clear signature is the more overall more worn one though.

And I don't think the exact location of the signature matters too much, they're still pretty much in the same spot.

interesting, my notes are all very similar, with a slight offset due to the note not being centered. Your Rasminsky looks like a different signature, up storke on top of L and thickness of Y at the end. It seems to be in a simliar style to my 1954 Coyne-Towers, lots of varieties I guess.

I'll call the note on the top Note 1, the one on the bottom Note 2.

Which Raminsky signature looks like your Coyne-Towers, is it Note 1? I just checked them against my Centennial note, the signature of Note 2 matches exactly. Maybe they were using an older machine to print Note 1?
