Hello,

I'm new to this forum. I've been trying to identify this silver German medal I have laying around with no luck. It seems to be commemorating the 300 anniversary of Marienberg.

Right, Marienberg (Saxony, near the Czech border) became a city in 1521, and the medal commemorates the 300th anniversary. Here is one in gold (with information about the engraver) and one in silver (with some info about the mintage):
