Hands Across The Border 2014

Currency Collectors in Canada and the United States are in for a real special treat this summer as the American Numismatic and Royal Canadian Numismatic Associations have joined together to promote both conventions taking place less than a week from each other.
I would encourage everyone to check out both association's websites and see what's all in store for this historic arrangement. Both conventions are jam packed with tours, meetings and auctions, so it's best to and register early to avoid disappointment. For example, Paper Money collectors can look forward to celebrating the CPMS 50th anniversary and an inaugural meeting is being held for Canada 1967 Centennial collectors with plans to kick off a new specialty club in style!
Officials and guest speakers from both associations will be on hand along with special educational symposiums featuring Canadian and U.S. numismatic topics. Members from either organization will be able to pre-register and get member pricing by indicating their membership number on the forms. Attendees will receive free admission to both shows by showing their membership cards. How's that for an awesome deal!
As an
ANA and
RCNA member with no direct involvement in the organization of either show, I'm excited and looking forward to what will hopefully be the talk of the town and highlight of the year.
