here is the site where the mint is selling it http://www.monnaiedeparis.fr/en_US/...PageNumber=4If you are in canada its roughly with todays pricing of your currency at the time I wrote this 58.24 CAD plus whatever shipping is. I ordered one last night, I plan on watching the games so this was a must have a nice way to mark the occasion. |

Thanks. Yeah, I love soccer too. So, the coin is just 90% silver right? Did you order from the mint or ebay? |

@arianzo yes, only 90% silver. I placed my order online with the Mint, I did see some bidding is going on one already on ebay. I believe a few weeks back I saw another auction. I was going to get it earlier but been so busy it didnt really stick in my mind but seeing that we are very close to the games starting, well I wanted to get it :D |

But keep in mind that, technology wise, they are basically copies of the concave/convex "Space" coins that the French mint issued in 2009. I have one of those (the silver €10 piece with the footprint and the sky of stars) but do not plan to get this year's issue ... Christian Edited by chrisild

yea thats my understanding also. The US Mint I guess, lets see if what I remember correctly, referenced the Paris Mint's work with these type coins when it was proposing the HOF coin... and then I saw online some comments that Australia also had some domed coins as well...
but it was the French who first stared with this design.
I can't wait to get this coin!

my coin shipped last week I guess... cant wait to get it, should have ordered it earlier tho so it came just as the WC games began lol
