The silver colour is odd, the covering uneven and strangely worn - I think someones stripped a regular VRBS ROMA and then either painted or plated it. chrsmat71 Pillar of the Community United States 4971 Posts	Posted 06/06/2014 11:53 am it does look weird doesn't it? if it is silvered, it still has a lot on it. the coins the most "silvered" example on acsearch just has a dab left. looks like the price is still low, may be worth a shot if you can keep it for cheap. echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 06/06/2014 1:58 pm I have no doubt that that's what they listed them at, but what I'm saying is that these coins are AE's and were not silvered. If so they would have been listed that way in RIC. Out on the hundreds of these that I've handled over the years, I've never come across any that has had even a tiny amount of silvering.
