Anyone have any thoughts on the 4 coin FIFA subscription that RCM offered this year? I've been thinking of picking up a couple of these coins as separates. They seem pretty unique and stand out from a lot of the other coins RCM has been offering lately. Some of the countries represented seem a bit odd though. Anyone know why they were chosen? |

From my point of view, they good for soccer fun. Or to person, that have some relation (or memories) to the particular championship. But in general, nothing special about 2014, that 2010 didn't have. To the coin collector more will appeal nicely crafted the set, dedicated to some sports : hockey, baseball (previous year RCM issued ugly coins), soccer...etc. Just my opinion. |

 Just say 'no'. Of course they are not RCM coins and there are literally dozens, if not hundreds, of 'World Cup coins being minted around the world. That said, if you like them, have at it. |

I ordered the silver domed FIFA coin from the Paris Mint... cant wait to see it :D

I'm a soccer fun but these RCM coins are very ugly. If I would buy one, it will be the Brazilian one. |

Congrats on the purchase! I'm glad you are enjoying them - as was mentioned, you can easily expand your set with issues from other countries. Have a look at the coins listed on FIFA' site, maybe you'll find something of interest to expand your collection. With Juan Carlos' abdication of the throne in Spain, the World Cup coin is among the last to bear his portrait. Future coins of Spain will have his son's portrait - King Felipe VI.
