Saw this one on the Bay a few days ago. While it's general appearance raises several red flags, I know the 50% alloy wears ugly (though circulation would have been quite uncommon for wreath crowns as I understand it). For what I paid, I can't complain no matter the outcome. Should be in my mailbox tomorrow.

I posted a photo of mine here if you want to do a comparison:

These coins never really circulated but some were pocket pieces - I've seen plenty in much worse shape than yours. I once even had one which was so worn that the last two digits of the date were unreadable.

Thanks for the comparison photo, Rob.

At first glance, what jumps out at me is that the denticles on my piece seem longer than the ones on yours; especially in the 6 o' clock region. That's slightly worrying.

I'll weigh it and get some better pictures up when it arrives tomorrow.

It arrived in the mail today!

Now, I can't seem to dig up much info on these. Are wreath crowns supposed to have a lettered or reeded edge? Mine is reeded. I put it on my postal scale and it wavered between 28 and 29 grams (my scale isn't exact to the tenth of a gram), so I think it's at least in the ballpark for weight.

I took some more pictures of it (which may not be much better than the seller's photos), some worrying discolored spots are visible, and I got a close-up of the date and a few other areas. Don't know if these will be any help in determining authenticity.

Wow! If that is a real 1933 wreath crown you've got the bargain of the year. I know you've said it's weight is right. Have you tested it with a magnet? Maybe worth sending it away to Ngc or pcgs to get slabed. You will find out for sure then.
You never know you may have picked up a £350 coin for a few bucks. Sounds a bit to good to be trueu but stranger things have happened. Good luck

This coin should have a reeded edge.

It doesn't look quite right to me. I would definitely get it checked out. As you correctly pointed out, if it seems too good to be true it usually is. I wish you the best of luck in getting your definite answer!
