I am not an expert on fakes but this doesn't like right to me, correct me if I am wrong

I'm not an expert on errors, but I'm not precisely sure how one would fake that. Still, I question the authenticity. Just call me a skeptic!

That's all I am - I couldn't tell if it is or not but I wouldn't collect it as an error even if I was interested by them, it's so 'suss' looking.
Rest in Peace

Looks like someone licked it with a really hot flame for a moment then threw some distilled water on it.

Does the minting process ever produce coins like this in its normal (faulty) operations?

Bad planchet?

I seem to recall seeing images of US coins that had been struck on defective blank planchets that look VERY similar to that.

Seems the planchets were cut too close to the edge of the flat coin metal sheet, which apparently was ragged.

It looks like a legitimate error struck on a ragged edged planchet.

Alright...I don't think I will collect those, but I do like the ones with extra or missing limbs.. isn't there one with a conquistador who has an extra sword?
