Hey, hopefully someone here can help me! I live in Canada.

I made a order from APMEX for about $1200.
All purchased items were .999 silver.
However, I was still charged duties, roughly about $240 or so.
Now I know with Canada Post, you can pay for it, than submit the refund form.
However for Fedex, how does this work? I have not picked up the package yet, it is in the pickup centre and I got one of those door slips.
Thank you!

Duties - ow I'm sorry I cant help!

It sounds too complicated. If you are happy with the price, pick it up!

I 've read a lot of things about APMEX on The Rip-Off Report. They charge You for every fee and tax possible! and very often people find themselves way under water by the time they finally get their metal. It was a bad enough report that I will never buy from APMEX. If I want To buyl silver I go through Eric Sprott. I hope that Your APMEX deal goes well for You. They are not good about refunding fees, so I would play hardball with them. Nice guys finish last with APMEX from what I've read. Good Luck!

You can ask Fedex brokerage services to file hst refund, but you will lose the ,broker fees they used wrong classifications.
