Hello guys,

I came across this token/medal but I really dont know what it is or where it came from as there is no country incribed. I am sorry as I cannot provide yet a picture of it.. I would just describe it the best way I can..

On the obverse side or reverse side is a logo of the naval special warfare and inscribe on the periphery is "NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE UNIT ONE"

On the other side, is a Seal with a knife on its mouth, and he's with some kind of animal (i don't know what it is) but he's smoking and has a (looks like a..) firecracker on his hand. Inscribe on the periphery is " *THE ONLY EASY DAY WAS YESTERDAY* SBU-SEAL-SDV*"
with a "HOO YAH" written just above the word SEAL.

Hope somebody can help me..

Thanks..

Sounds like a US Navy Seal Challenge medal. Can you post a picture of it?

hello echizento,

It looks like this but on the first picture written above the eagle is NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE UNIT ONE and not "SEAL TEAM". And under the eagle is not the rectangle that you see on the pic but the ribbon you see on the 2nd picture.

On the 2nd picture is the same seal that I've describe from my previous post, written above it is *THE ONLY EASY DAY WAS YESTERDAY* BUT instead of a ribbon, a SBU-SEAL-SDV is inscribed on it..

I don't know if I make sense but I've searched through different search engines but can't find anything that would match to what I have..

You think this (my medal) is FAKE?

If you do an internet search using Navy Seal Challenge coin you will find several different styles, e-bay also has a number of different ones listed. The unit probably had these made to give to it's members. There is a place for an inscription to be added.

if a person was caught without their medal at the bar it became a drinking game, they would have to take a shot or pay for a round or something like that, atleast thats what I have heard about these type of medals

That is a true Bryan if you get challenged and you do not have it with you you have to buy the house a round or do 25 push ups per person
