The obverse kind of stood out from the rest since the background is so shiny. In hand, you can see die polish on the background. The relief look kind of frosted to my eyes but I don't know what frosting on pre-1976 coins look like.

It looks like it's been polished.

Wouldn't it have signs of cleaning or hairlines or something like that if it was polished? I didn't see any.

The coin isn't with me now, I've packed it away and won't be seeing it again until September.
