got the camera out today!! first image of the day please throw out any suggestions as far as image quality!! I am learning about Camera Functionality and shutter speed! as far as this coin is apparantly as the die was wearing and being polished. a mint worker re engraved the tail feathers by hand on this coin you can see the markings in both wings.. I think this is pretty cool!
It doesn't appear to have the re engraved tail feathers

The whole coin seems a little orange where the luster is

Franklin Collector, actually I believe the color was caused by a filter my camera had on it in conjuction with a clear light bulb and the fact the coin is in a dansco album.. I am a new coin photography person have had a DSLR camera for just a few months now and I am getting better at using it.. Plain and simple Coin photography should be called scientific photography.. For me its a learning process!!

Bet the color is from most, the reflection
from the album. Take the coin out and try it.
Type B rev. so I'm assuming it's a proof.
Proof dies were worked on quite a bit during their
stints.

you can get a "natural light" led bulb for a few bucks they make the color nice. the background reflects into it I use a yellow thing I should switch it to grey or something.

not sure if this helps:

But I noticed if I crop the image before I web optimize it. it will remain large in px but will be the right file size for 680px wide. if you crop using web optimizer it does both losing detail.

I think you can also upload large image to free site or another site and hotlink it then if someone clicks on it it opens full size with all the details.
