It's an interesting coin, however the price point kills it. Especially when a person knows in fall there's a chance to get it for far less, with all the sales dealers have been having. I know many collectors liked the red version more than the uncoloured silver coin that preceded it. The RCM is way out of line with its pricing of its silver coins.

Even not the price.... What is the value in this "green remake"? Is it something new, or did RCM provide some logical series? Looks like re-used design with the other color, that does not really fit symbols of our country. Yes, Maple Leaf has many colors, the best example 2001-2007,2008-2012 series, when the design changed. But if it stylized maple leaf - it will be red, as was done with the 2013 1oz coin.

I have to concur with you two ( Pocket Change and Silveroid) again. (This is getting ridiculous. ) By the way, my sources tell me next year's version will be yellow, followed by orange in 2016. The 2017 colour has not yet been decided, and a committee of nine highly paid experts has been hired to study the matter and report back eventually...

I GUESS it's an improvement over the SML commemorative that just used the previous year's design. Still, I like the enamelling over hollowing. Not enough to keep my face firmly planted into my palm.

Have no interest in the Green one at the moment too much dinero, I've always wanted the red one though but didn't buy it for the same reason - when I saw thecurse9's post over on RFD I jumped on the sale.

I took advantage of the Silvertowne sale and got my red impression maple leaf, very nice coin! That being said, I wouldn't have paid $114 for it, $50 is the most i'd pay for this one.
