Once again I have found a shiny refugee from the 21.5x face (at this time) American melt silver bin. How does it look? I'm kind of looking for a special number grade at the end so I can know how many points I can improve it by.
My-Second-Peace-Dollar!
Remember, paying 21.5x face in Canadian dollars is like paying only 20.2x face in American dollars! Yet nearly all coins sold here take the prices from American catalogs and equate them to Canadian dollars. This means that, when our dollar is weak, all Canadian coins carry an automatic discount when priced from things like the Red Book and Krause Standard because we aren't used to converting prices anymore

Anyway, also notice the lighting setup, I paid $3 at the thrift store for this.

Wow, a High AU Peace dollar for $21.50 is really good. Best I've done in $21 for a 1890-P AU-55 Morgan dollar (I paid $23 CAD for it and this was at the time when Canadian Dollar had Dipped to 0.88 USD so...). My source for Morgan/Peace Dollars always has them for $23 each (Shhh.. I won't tell) and they're usually VF.

Really nice though!

AU55-58. Nice coin, hammered, not a bad buy for $21.50.

You need to get more light on the bottom of the coin.
