For those Illinois area coin collectors that go to coin shows. Note that if you went to the normal Illinois Coins Show Calendar per a Google search, it would not list a coin show in Countryside for this weekend, August 12. Many people I know thought that there was no show there due to the very large ANA coin show in Milwaukee this weekend. However, per the Illinois Numismatic Association web site for Upcoming Coin shows there is one at Countryside, Illinois this Sunday. If your going I'll see you there about 9AM

Carl...you just don't know how envious I am that you have so many coin shows to choose from. Up here in ND I have one or two a year that are close, and a couple more that are 2-3 hours away.

You lucky DOG!

Here in Michigan we have one just about every weekend during the summer, there are 3 different shows that rotate weekends with each having a good amount of dealers. Last weekend an error dealer had his first show, very nice errors I bought a few from him.

Ironically, there weren't many coin shows in L.A., though there were several about 45 min or an hour away. Now I'm in South Florida and looking forward to attending coin shows here. I often find the best stuff and best prices at coin shows, and it's fun.
