Just wondering if anyone can tell by the pictures if this coin is an error coin. I had this since 1974 as was given to me by my dad as he had picked up a whole roll of coins.

I'm no expert, but it looks partially clipped to me, an error worth hanging on to.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Very nice incomplete planchet clip. These occur in almost all years, but 1974 seems to be the most common.

They are typically worth around $400 certified, but it seems like the last one seen in auction was subject to a bidding war...
