I just got ths coin from ebay.

I think it OK. The weight should be just under 9 grams.

Yes the weight is under 9 grams.

Weight : 8.0 grams

Size : 20.6mm

Firstly Not Greek but Macedonian. This coin is most assuredly authentic. It is a nice coin would probably grade VF and the toning is attractive.You did well on purchasing it. On the history Neapolis was later renamed Philipi by Philip II of Macedonia and became a critical defensive position and allowed access to even more gold mines which were controlled by the Royal Family.

No thank you for showing these coins would love to see the other one that you need identified. If you want any help on any Macedonian coins I am open to a private message or a link to a topic that you need help with (this is extended to anyone here on the forum too.) Just happy to be a part of the ancients community now.
