Hey guys, new member.

I work at a coffee shop and have slowly been collecting silver coins that show up in the tip jar. And then this guy showed up in there, no idea the potential value our exactly what it is. But heres some pics

I would wait for a expert to chime in but it appears to be a dyer coin which is a coin with post mint damage or PMD from spinning around in a dryer.

That's exactly what I thought, except from the raised edges on the left sides on the obverse face, along with the lettering that's right under "ten cents" on the reverse side.

plus the lines running through all the lettering.... it just kinda catches my eye in a weird way

The mirror'd lettering on the OBV bottom looks like it could be one of those 'vise job' coins.

From what I understand, It's when some who is bored stack's coins together and then either Squeeze's them in a vice or hits them with a hammer or something to leave impressions of other coins on another one.
