Hi. I just started collecting error coins and know little about them. I have a double or triple stamped mint mark on a 1937 D Nickel. Any idea on value or where I can find the values. Thanks. Dave

to CCF. If you can post a pic that would help. You may have a real RPM or it may just be MD or something like that.

Good question. Not many price guides deal with RPM's, Rotated Reverse, over dates, etc. Would be nice to have a web site for all the error coins but then it would have to be really extensive. Imagine with just your nickel. There would have to be a listing for a single RPM, Double RPM, etc. Then a list for all the different grades too. Add in the 37D 3 legger and you now have a very long list and all for just one type and year coin. I guess it could be done but that sure would take a lot of research, time and work.
