Welcome! I can't say for sure whether it is genuine, it does look grotty enough! It might be this coin, if so, it should be silver, we could do with the size in mm and weight in grams. http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/gree...s/BMC_34.jpgEphesos, Ionia, AR tetradrachm. Archidamos. 340-325 BC. Archidamos. E-F, bee / ARCIDAMOS, Forepart of stag recumbent right, head left, palm tree to left. BMC 34; Babelon Traite 1883.19; Pixodarus O145-3. Here is a link to vcoins which have some for sale, these are retail prices so a dealer wouldn't pay you this amount! https://www.vcoins.com/en/Search.as...OnSale=False

The coin was also in bronze, is yours silver or bronze? It is difficult to tell from the pictures. The size and weight appear to be ok. They did vary a lot.

IMO it looks OK, just a bit over cleaned.
BTW, Wildwinds is no longer allowing hot linking to there web site. I contacted Dane about this a week or so ago, without going into long details when we link a coin on the site it can cause her server problems.

My first reply was a little short, however, I am still of the opinion it is from a group of coins that are of a much later date manufactured in the UK in the late 90's. It has ware but lacks the basic detail of a genuine example. It also has corrosion that is unusual to see on coins of this type.
