Correct, the 1944 Lincoln sent was the first US coin to go over the 1 billion mark for mintage

Oh wow I got it! I have been working on my IHC grading so I am glad to see I am at least in the ballpark.

I was going to guess MS65RB but turning to BN now in an older holder possibly. This is a really nice looking IHC, I think it would definitely merit a CAC Green and maybe Gold bean!

Thanks westcoin. One thing I will say is that the images don't capture the luster well at all on this coin, in had it has quite a bit of luster and the red is much more evident.

Personally I feel it's overgraded. It has a "classic" MS63 look. 64 IHC's usually have quite a bit more luster/mirror characteristic.

And this is why an image is not a very good way to grade a coin. As I mentioned in my post just above the coin actually does have quite a bit of luster. Unfortunately it's not evident at all in the image.

Shermae...you can actually have higher grades without luster. For instance an MS65BN may not have any at all
