Looking through some uncirculated sets, I notice the steps missing on both my P and D sets. Was this just a weak strike or something common for the year?
Thx.

I believe it may have been a run of weak strikes.. I myself have 3 mint sets of 77 as well as some singles and most seem to be pretty weakly struck.. I'm no expert so maybe someone else will chime in.. Just wanted to give ya my opinion based on what I see on mine as well.

Thx...looking at more and more 77's it's pretty common...it was of course the 70's, maybe feeling a little more laid back and they figured "steps? We don't need no stink'n steps"
Thx for the reply.
