Hello everyone! I'm a die variety and error collector been collecting for years. I mostly look through cents for its cheaper but also look through a lot of nickels. I've gone through boxes of nickels over the years and never could find a nice doubled die. Well finally found a nice one but shape is terrible but still a keeper for me. This is WDDR-008 is also listed in Strike it rich in Pocket Change by Ken Potter.

Thanks for sharing....

Excellent Find...

very cool Class VI doubled die nice strong extra thickness showing on the letters of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

The new version of Strike It Rich the 4th edition starts at 1965 what edition I wish it went back farther to 1939.

Wexler uses that coin as a example and give some good history on how it happened on his site
