The Denton, Texas Police Department arrested a male and female on drug related charges. In their possession was a large amount of coins housed in 2x2 card board holders. Some of the coins are depicted in the photos below.
The suspects may have traveled in Oklahoma and Arkansas as well as Texas. Possible vehicles associated with the suspects are a red F150 P/U and a red 1988 Mercury. Denton PD investigators are requesting assistance in locating the victim of a possible burglary or theft.

Interesting development from a an interesting part of Texas , while its easy to assume the worst in these types of situations , I couldn`t help but wonder : is it possible that this couple were coin collectors as well as being drug dealers ?

Assuming they accepted the coins as payment for contraband , then they must be knowledgeable enough about coins to assess their value hence my mulling on the possibility of them being collectors in addition to their other nefarious business .....
