I voted other because "Throw out wife" was not available in the options.

that whole "ask for forgiveness not permission" is a line a thief uses and id NEVER the right thing to do.

I would just get the extra and leave them out to look at to free up room in the safe. Put the most "valuable" ones $$$-wise in the safe, since you aren't looking at or handling them all the time anyway, and you can jsut know that the ones out to look at have better brethren put away.

Depends on how you want to look at them, but if you have that many extra you could frame some like a picture to hang on the wall.

If you have way too many extra that are duplicates, then selling some off to get more will mean you can fill holes.

Also you could tell her she has too much of her "collection" of something and she cannot get more unles you can get more of your collection. It is only fair after all.
