jay799 Valued Member United States 156 Posts	Posted 07/26/2014 3:11 pm not sure what photo grade you are using, but here: http://www.pcgs.com/photograde/#/Walker/Grades Take a look at the obverse breast area difference between VF and XF coins. You can clearly see 2 defined breasts in XF which you get only a hint of in VF condition. Sure, they get more defined in AU grade, but for AU, you are more looking at the wear on the hand as well as minor wear on the breast area and leg. Report this Post to the Staff
buddy16cat Pillar of the Community United States 1536 Posts	Posted 07/26/2014 3:18 pm Okay, I was looking at that too. I confused it with the reverse for some reason and the Eagle's breast feathers. I thought the breast plate on the obverse looked closer to XF but no matter since the value on that common coin doesn't jump into you get into AU/MS coins. I can get these at my local PM at melt in this condition. I just bought this in a lot of 5 for $50 because the 1916-D which list price is $40 and the Columbian Exposition.
