To be honest, I'm not even certain of it's authenticity (it came from a 200+ year old collection we just inherited), so any insight would be greatly appreciated :) Report this Post to the Staff

You don't often see them in this good condition. Is there any chance that you could give us the weight in grams and also a photo of the edge of the coin. Don't get your hopes up, it is likely to be a copy. Report this Post to the Staff
Sunstorm New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 08/03/2014 6:06 pm Thanks! This was the best I could get of the edge, my phone's not too fond of the detail shots (sorry if this doesn't help!). I do have a gram scale at my work I can use to weigh it tomorrow, if the edge isn't a dealbreaker. We were kind of thinking it might be a case of 'too good to be true' after seeing the condition/values of some of the ones online, but would really like to know for sure.
