So maybe we're not wearing gloves just to protect the coins - maybe we need to wear gloves to protect our health

This brings up some very interesting speculation: Since it seems that there is different residue on money depending upon its geographical location, that is something that could easily be used in a police investigation then.

You don't have to tell me how nasty coins and currency are- just take a look at my hands after an hour or two at work. How any of my co-workers can eat while they're at their teller window is beyond me... eeugh!

Now Kyra I would be more concerned where the food came from and how it was handled and prepared as that is, for the most part, totally unknown to you and totally out of your control when manufactured! Try not to think about it during your next meal!!!

Having have worked in restaurant kitchens for 20 years, I could tell you stories that would make you never want to eat in restaurants again. Do you know what the 8 second rule is?

If any of you travel through the toll booths, you will notice most of the cashiers wear gloves.
