I pay somebody else to take them and he's cheap too! Shoot me a message and I'll send you his email address so you can talk to him about his setup if you'd like. I've seen it when dropping stuff off, it doesn't strike me as too fancy, although it sure does work well.

That's pretty cool that you have someone to do this for you. If I knew of someone locally I would do it too. The closest I have come to this quality of an image is this 1881-S:

Thank you. I'm slowly working towards a specialization in Morgans, and think I'm doing pretty well in that department in terms of developing an eye for quality coins from photos that may not be the greatest.

It's a superbly appealing coin. Those two marks on the obverse are fairly deep though. Without them I'd be at 65, with them, 63 or 63+.
