hello moderators...we have a problem in the NCLT section regarding the Superman release....we are formally asking for a name change on the thread entitled .....MC member special offer coming Nov 28...this thread is by far the most important thread on the Bank of Canada gold release but doesn't have the title that makes page 1 show up in the first page of results CCF search engine for this topic....Therefore we are requesting the moderator in charge to change the title to include Bank of Canada 2012 Gold Hoard release....or something to that affect...The members have put a lot of time and posts into this thread and at 178 pages it is perhaps the biggest and longest running up to date thread in CCF especially on the Canada Gold Release of 2012...please look at page 178 for the current discussion on this name change...thankyou on behalf of the members

A simple note to staff would have sufficed. A paragraph long rant with a title in full CAPS (The Internet equivalent of screaming) is not the way to vent.

We're here all the time. All you have to do is use the proper method to contact us (Send note to Staff link on every single post since the forum began in 2005) and we will oblige. If you think we read every post you're sadly mistaken. We have lives you know. Making a topic like this and deliberately trying to make us look bad is a very bad idea. You even went out of your way to YELL out the title. Geez.

Apparently they are very busy editing your post to mixed case. Have you considered Decaf?

That link is in far too obvious a spot for me to have seen it... From now on I'll know how to contact the Mods. Thanks for changing the thread title!

Quote: Have you considered Decaf? Seriously though OP, consider this a lesson learned. Our mods are very good here, and will respond quickly to a note to staff on the bottom right of each post. I've used it before, it is discreet and much more polite than a nagging rant.

I think the thread should be moved to "Canadian Coins,Bank Notes, and Paper Money" where it belongs. The $5 and $10 gold coins were issued for circulation , they have never been commemoratives or NCLT.

@DBM...i have to agree with you but I can see how they came to be in this NCLT section..If the RCM released some mint bags of pre 1967 silver coins they would probably be treated as NCLT as well even tho they were originally in circulation. The fact that a coin was in circulation separates it from todays NCLT releases which are never in circulation. When the BOC coins were released the NCLT collectors were mostly the first to get the news and thus this famous thread was started by the NCLT collectors

To all:
I'm not at all happy that the thread was moved to another forum.
You can read my reasoning on the thread which is now (temporarily I hope) located on the Canadian Coins, Bank Notes, and Paper Money forum.
I have officially requested that the Moderators return the thread to the NCLT forum where it has resided without complaint for the last 21 months!

It was good thread. Although the coins are circulating, they were released in 2012 as NCLT item, and the thread should stay here.
Thanks to moderators for not moving any "Lucky Loonie" and "Special Quarters" threads to different location.
