This was one of my first coins I purchased when I started collecting again. It was in a NNC holder when I got it off ebay. What do you think the grade is...I'll share NNC's grade in a day or two.

This is an NNC MS64RB and I paid $80.73 for it, pretty good profit for the seller for an XF coin! Needless to say that's when started studying grades very thoroughly...I think I am now be too thorough on grading coins but hey lesson learned!

Ok heres my 2 Cents worth
Both arrows have die cracks running to the rims so I would say the dies on the way out.. The arrows are flat the leaves lack detail on the left hand side. I would need a close up of the date but looking at the 1 there may be signs of a RPD.
The motto complete and the we fairly strong.
The REV is a problem for me. I have seen this kind of finish many times on coins that have been dipped in ez-est or something similar. It may be honest wear so I will give it the benefit of the doubt as its not possible to tell from the pics. The lettering is strong and the wheat well defined. The ribbon appears to be complete with little wear. I would give it an overall EF40 and if I was looking to buy I would expect to pay around $30 Now what NNC gave it I have no idea.

I'll venture XF-40, that rim ding on the reverse keeps my opinion from a 45. I'm guessing NNC graded at AU50

(sorry edited to add NNC grade :) )

If it were in an SGS slab it would be MS-70, I think NNC gave it MS-63.
My opinion is it is no better than XF-40.
