I dont see the "Blakesley effect" but it dosn't always show on some coins. Other than that it looks nice.

Yes it looks genuine to me! nice coin, it is not everyday that you find a Australian clipped coin! it is hard to find canadian 5 cent clipped planchet, this is the Australian equivalent to it, very nice find!
