kburky New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 08/19/2014 10:48 am So, this goes back a number of years (I'd say about 5 or 6), at my local small town bank. I know all the tellers, and they know I collect, so they tell me about a large dollar coin they got in when I came in to buy some rolls and ask me if I want it. Of course, I say "YES PLEASE!" even though I'm expecting an IKE or something of the sort, she goes over to another drawer and pulls out a 1934-S Peace dollar in almost perfect shape. And being a bank, they sell it to me at FACE VALUE! By far my best find, and I doubt I'll find anything better, but I keep on a'searchin'! Report this Post to the Staff
