Would appreciate some suggestions on a good way to acquire quality images of coins. Seems to be a great variable to those posted, making eval very difficult. Lighting seems key, as well as focus. Tips appreciated. Thanks

-have the camera fixed to a tripod or copy stand
-coin should be flat, out of holder if possible
-use a timer or remote to trigger the shutter
-use one type of light (can be two light of the same type)
-diffuse the light as needed

There are lots of folks here that know a lot more than me.

What equipment do you have?
