Wow that's truly unfortunate. While the sellers are mostly at fault for selling fakes like these, it also takes an educated buyer to make an informed decision before purchasing a coin. Not to mention, these coins come off as terrible fakes which wouldn't fool anybody on this forum. It is almost impossible not to see how the coins are missing the glass insert . Anyways, that's just my Two Cents

When it come to these fake coins why do they always say they lost the COA and Case? How could you "lose" them? People usually keep coins IN their cases to display them.

I know it's the buyers fault for not doing their homework, but still can't help but feel sorry for them because their probably new to coin collecting and will have no idea. One of the buyers left a positive feedback so it looks like they really don't have a clue.

Quote: People usually keep coins IN their cases to display them. I don't. Packaging is bulky and is stored in plastic totes in a bedroom closet. Most coins are securely locked up off site. When displayed (which is rare), they are on easels. That said, I would never buy an NCLT coin without it's COA and/or packaging and whomever bought those ebay fakes is just plain insane in the membrane or grossly ill informed. Those are not even particularly good copies.

It looks like they have sold a counterfeit ducks as well. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Canada-2013-...em19f0c93745http://www.ebay.ca/itm/10-Dollar-Ma...em2a40b7d6b3If is not fake its a real bad picture. I wonder how many of the other coins the the one seller has are fakes as well, I don't know much about most of the coins they are selling. dph8819 is selling some fairly hi end coins, I would think he would be smarter then that to list fakes beside them! Seems like a bad business decision. I reported them as counterfeit...beter late then never I guess.

No COA, no case for multiple item ==> fake
The pictures, btw, not bad at all, but not perfect. Pixelazition of the paint and the coin shown not in the capsule - almost always fake.
I can sell this coin (real, not fake) for low price...but not for $23 by putting it on the auction.

In the end, it's only the RCM who with one lawyer's letter to ebay can drastically end these listings. At the recent RCNA show the RCM had a large group of various employees at their booth, their marketing people didn't care much about fakes except for a designer, who was in disbelief of the RCM position. Shows the RCM logic on this issue, you keep buying our coins who cares afterwards.
