Saturn

S behind head

Prow, S above

23mm, 6.12 grams

semis I believe

I cannot quite make out the legend / letters below the prow. I think I expect ROMA but I can't quite make that out.

200 BC?

attractive.

Very nice coin. It should be ROMA underneath and I'm pretty sure I can make out each letter. The A is almost but not quite off flan.

I had this coin for ages before somebody pointed out that there was an elephant's head at the top of the coin. I am wondering whether or not you have something similar.

There is an S above the prow too, the denomination mark (Semis). Below does say ROMA.

Heres mine, the nicest thing I own:

As for yours pish, it seems to be an early named coin, perhps one of the first. The prow is inscribed C METELL.
