Hello. I've seen topics on the re-engraved and double date varieties but this coin is way different with a doubled 1 only and a completely different location of doubling from the other varieties... Any thoughts?

Nice. There's a photo of a double 1 on Numicanada.

I believe I see some doubling and notching on the bottom left tip of the first "1", a line of doubling inside the "4" and and notch on the last "1" upper tip left as well as widening. Looks double die but I'm not very familiar with these penny's.
Good eye though..

Machine doubling... yours being different just means it happened with more than one die...
