Nice looking coin.

Canadian toners don't tend to bring as much as American toners. Probably only a couple dollars over melt, if you found a buyer.

how do you know it is 50% silver? there are 2 types 80% and 50% silver?

You don't, mostly people round it to .600 so both parties win

Looks like it could be heavy cameo too, possibly from a specimen set, they tend to tone due to the contents of the packaging. I'm afraid with the small scratches this only a few dollar coin...but still a beauty!

No the coin is near perfect, it is the 2x2 in which has the scratches.

Specimen strike. Toning is common on those, from both the red and black leather boxed sets. Your coin has a nice cameo, certified versions sell for $15 to $25...
