Elsewhere on CCF, there is a thread about the coins of 1914.

I'm on the Spink mailing list, and have received their flyer -

the Exhibition will apparently include a variety of items, including the first & second Victoria Crosses, awarded for valour at Mons on 23rd August 2014.

I wish that I could be there !
