I've seen a couple like this and I can't believe it's a mistake. I'm not a fan of this look.

Can't say with 100% certainty but I'm guessing it was likely done for one of the big sellers on tv

Perhaps the seller manipulated the photos to show the PCGS label below the coin?

Seller states ... No Photoshop .. hmmm

I've seen them that way in hand. I believe it's because the other side of the label is the Flag of the state and they wanted THAT to be oriented correctly along with the coin. So o'le George got the shaft.

Yeah, but that won't explain why the obverse label is upside-down when you orient the slab correctly. I suspect this is PCGS finding yet another way to screw up a job.

Beacuse that is the way they do the state flag quarters.

And not the label is correctly oriented. If the flipped the lettering over and you put the slab in the "correct orientation, George would be upside down. So if you display these showing the flags the State Quarter reverse are all right side up and the flags are above them. If you display them with the labels showing the labels are all right side up but below the coin and all the obverses are right side up as well.

With these state quarter/flag slabs it is the reverse that is the important one.

It's not upside down. George is right side up looking left and the label is completely readable. On the other side the flag is at the top, correctly oriented and the state side of the coin below it is also completely readable. If they did the label any other way, somebody would be upside down.
