I'm pretty new and nothing jumps out screaming "cleaned". Clearly I'm not looking for the right thing. So could someone fill me in? Thanks!

Anybody else see what almost looks like solder on the reverse at 12 o'clock? Tough picture to work with.

I have no answer for you - no idea how people are coming up with any opinions at all from such small images. Not like there's enough data to draw a conclusion.
Rest in Peace

SsuperDdave, if you enlarge the reverse image,I'm sure you did, there looks like some damage at 12 O'Clock.

Hope I'm wrong.

Right but that would just be details from that, not from being cleaned.

The thing that jumped out to me was the dull, washed out fields, with a halo effect around the devices.

Most of the time jewelry pieces are cleaned, but I'm sure there are some clear markings of cleaning on the coin. At first glance the luster does look a bit off, especially around the stars

Exactly why I said cleaned. I didn't notice the Ex-Jewelry part until Indian1 Mentioned it but there are clearly parallel scratches running across the coin and several abrasions.
