I got this coin circa 2003 from a kid who really wanted my Ford Mustang watch. So I swapped him for this coin.

On the one side it has Christ with arms open, then a pic of what I can only assume is the pope, Most likely Benedict XVI because of the inscription which reads "El Mundo Cristiano Hacia Un Nuevo Milenio" Its Spanish for "The Christian World into a new millennium" and to the side it says Siglo XXI (21st century) On the back of the coin is the Lady of Guadalupe. I know she is of significant importance in converting Mexico to catholicism.

So I know a little bit about the images on the coin but for the life of me I cannot find any info on fabrication and distribution of the coin. please help me!

That sounds about right. Thanks Petrus! I searched that site for a couple hours but I missed it. Are these coins of any value above their weight in silver?

I did not find the mintage, but I think they are made in big quantities.
You have Always the value of the silver, if it is silver.
A value is as big as anyone is prepared to pay.
Maybe you can send the pictures to that site?
