I'm gonnah say it's likely Polished, would account for the softened and flattened details, impaired luster and haloed devices. Better pictures, preferable under natural light would help. I agree with the others about it being polished but I just want to add that I think it was once a jewelry piece. That would account for the ring around the perimeter where the bezel protected it and the massive difference in the amount of detail between the obverse and reverse. Report this Post to the Staff
