Looks like a "cista mystica" type silver coin, a common design used in the region around Ephesus and Pergamum in western Turkey. I can't see enough writing though to give a more definite location, or a time period (could be anywhere from 200 BC to 200 AD).

This looks like a Cista mystica type, but it does not look quite right. The flan is small and the rim of the coin is odd. This coin looks thick, but these coins are usually thinner and wider. The fields of these coins are usually much larger, but this coin has no extra room in the fields, in fact, because of the small flan, some of the design is missing. The style seems a little off also. This coin may be a contemporary imitation or a more recent fabrication. The weight and size might help also.

Here are the Wildwinds pages with these types for comparison
